Sunridge
is located in the scenic City
of Lowell, in Lane
County, Oregon,about
20 miles east of twin cities Eugene
and Springfield.
The area is well known for its natural beauty, and recreation opportunities
abound. There are three lakes within five minutes drive of Sunridge.
The closest, Dexter Lake, is the only constant-level reservoir in
the area, and boasts a beautiful marina and park.
Lowell
is a town of a thousand people nestled in the foothills of the Cascade
Mountains near the Willamette
National Forest and its 1,700 trails. The planned Eugene-to-PCT
Trail will soon pass right next to Sunridge and extend through the
Willamette Forest all the way to the famous Pacific Crest Trail
in the Cascade wilderness...a hiker's paradise. There are also numerous
state
parks surrounding Lowell. Sunridge is less than an hour's drive
from the Willamette
Pass Ski Area at the Cascade summit, and it takes only 90 minutes
to reach the Pacific Ocean.
Sunridge
is about 900 feet above sea level, several hundred feet higher than
the Willamette Valley and the fog that blankets the valley throughout

Eugene
offers all the amenities one could want: shopping, medical services,
entertainment, and educational and cultural opportunities. Lane
County Community College (LCC) is a pleasant 20 minute drive
away. Lane Transit
District has 3 or 4 buses a day from Lowell to LCC and downtown
Eugene. Eugene is also home to the University
of Oregon and the Hult
Center for the Performing Arts.
